Airport transer from Friedrichshafen?

I am trying to sort a cheapish winter holiday (not necessarily skiing, but i like the snow and walking).
Have got a great deal on a flight to Friedrichshafen, and a good offer of hotel in Fischen.
The hotel is 60 miles (apparently) from the airport.
Any suggestions for transfers other than expensive taxi? I dont know the area at all.

Can I please ask him/her where they got the information on the regional train?
I am sure that is the route I will take but plan to arrange return flight around return train times.
The area looks lovely and I will certainly visit the locations you suggest.

  You could take the regional trains which take about 2 ¼ hours for the 57 miles destination. A train station is located directly at the airport.
  The fee for a train ride would be €18.80 for the following connections:

  dept. Friedrichshafen Airport 11:18 – 13:17 – 17:18 – 20:19
  arrive at Lindau Central Stat. 11:54 – 13:51 – 17:51 – 21:00
  depart Lindau Cental Station 11:59 – 13:59 – 17:58 – 21:39
  arrive at Immenstadt/Allgaeu 12:51 – 14:51 – 18:51 – 22:31
  depart from Immenstadt/Allg 13:11 – 15:11 – 19:02 – 22:36
  arrive at Fischen im Allgaeu–13:30 – 15:29 – 19:25 – 22:54

  Other connections would be available taking a longer time or requiring a higher fare. You may check them on the website of the German Railway (Deutsche Bahn) attached as the first source.
  For checking yourself insert "Friedrichshafen Flughafen" as start and just Fischen as destination.
  Ignore the message "Your input yielded several possible stops. Please select the desired stop."

  Being there I would really commend to visit the Little Walser Valley and Oberstdorf to include the Breitachklamm.

  Edit:
  When you check on the "Deutsche Bahn" website use the "Advanced selection of means of transport" and delete the option "ICE, EC, and IR" you will have the cheap options of the regional trains left. It makes no sence to take fast trains going long distances via Stuttgart or Ulm, not taking less time but asking for the double amount of fare.

  arrive at Immenstadt/Allgaeu 08:35 – 12:18 – 12:46 – 16:46
  depart from Immenstadt/Allg 08:42 – 12:22 – 13:07 – 17:07
