How much money should I take to Kefalonia?

I’m going to Kefalonia at the end of June. Not sure how much to take? I’m thinking £300/£400? I’m planning a few excursions (e.g. to the caves, a boat trip, might hire a scooter for a day, watch turtles). Anyone know approximately how much the excursions cost, approximate cost of an evening meal. I don’t drink much so won’t be spending lots on alcohol, and won’t be spending much on shopping/gifts.

I’m staying in the resort of Lassi, which is about 20/30 mins from the airport. Anyone know approximately how much a taxi will cost, as I don’t have airport/hotel transfer arranged?

what do you think about the length of time it takes to complete a transfer? it is like a soap opera with more twists and turns than a glasgow taxi..it usually starts with a rumour in a paper.then the players agent will deny it.and the player will deny it.then the club will say he's not for sale.and he's going nowhere.then comes the will he? wont he?..the players representatives are locked in talks..they are expected to sign this week.what dya think?

Is there any visa on arrival service at Ubon Ratchathani airport?

I'm going to Ubon Ratchathani for a few days, as I still need to get the Thai visa from Visa on arrival – I'm just wondering is there any such service at the airport in Ubon, or I still need to transfer in Bangkok first, get the visa there (i know there's a visa on arrival counter at the airport there).

p.s: I'm on a trip now, so cant get the visa from the thai consulate from the country i live.
