Any suggestions for a weekend’s skiing?

Some pals and I are trying to organise a cheeky boys weekend's skiing. We're thinking about Davos (easy to get to, short transfer times etc.) but now I am thinking with the bad snow that we're better off going somewhere else. My dashboard widget says there's a 5" snow base! Anyone been skiing in France or Switzerland where the snow is good?

Skiing package holidays and under 18?

My brother and I would like to go skiing in the Easter holidays to Austria. However, I am 17 (and he is 14) but have found many companies require an over 18 year old to travel.
Does anyone know of any companies/ websites which allow under 18s to travel (I know you can fly alone at the age of 14- it is just the hotels)?
Also, which companies/websites offer package ski holidays including ski hire, lift passes, flights, accomodation and transfers?
Thanks!! =)

Want to go skiing. Where would you recommend?

One week at the end of January.
Want short airport transfer, accommodation close to slopes, and good apres-ski / nightlife.
Looking at Europe only, e.g. France, Austria, Italy

Any advice / recommendations welcome! Thnx
Pau: I dont get it? Are you trying to make a joke?

How can I promote my Yahoo group? (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/silverskiiers/)?

Silver skiiers are generally intermediate to intermediate/advanced level skiiers, usually over forty, who prefer their ski accommodation catered and aren't averse to enjoying a little sunshine over a coffee at a mountain cafe. Yet we are passionate about our skiing and want to keep on learning and developing our ski technique. We may be couples, singles, or have partners who don't ski – and we're looking to enjoy ski holidays from the UK with people of similar aims, ability and age. Would you like to know that there will always be people you can go on holiday with? Would you like to know who you'll be sharing your catered chalet with? Would you like to have everything for your ski holiday organised for you – flights, transfers, accommodation, ski pass, equipment hire, ski tuition? If this appeals to you and you'd like to know more, we'd love to hear from you – do please join our group. http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/silverskiiers/

Transfers from Geneva to Les Arcs?

Hi,
I am going skiing in Les Arcs in March and am trying to sort out my transfer. At the moment it looks like Ill be flying into Geneva, so I was wondering if anybody know some good, cheap websites where I can book a return transfer from Geneva airport to Les Arcs? All websites Ive checked so far are really expensive. Alternatively, can anybody recommend any websites that transfer from an alternate airport to Les Arcs? Thanks in advance!

What is a good snow-sure resort for a ski weekend? We want to transfer from the airport by public transport?

I live in the UK, so unfortunately I'm limited to European resorts for a weekend trip.

Does anyone a good website for cheap ski deals?

Ideally I would like a hotel (half board) for 4 adults for around £500 each including lift passes, flights, transfers and ski hire equipment.

Anyone know a good website to get transfers from Krakow to Zakopane.+ book ski passes?

Which boat should my family buy?

My family used to have a competition ski boat, but we eventually sold it to transfer over to bigger houseboats. Now that we’ve sold our SeaRay, we want to get back into boating but are taking a different direction and want to get another smaller boat and a lake home.

We’ve settled on wanting some type of Mastercraft, but we’re not quite sure which one to get. We all ski (me, my dad, my mom, and my two sisters) and we looove tubing. We also want to have friends down with us to spend the day on the lake.

So we need a boat that’s higher up on the size scale, great for skiing, tubing, and we want to learn how to wakesurf. I also have a friend who loves to wakeboard and he’d probably be coming down with us a lot and eventually show my family how.

So… which Mastercraft should we get?

Skiing in Chile anyone?

Each year my dad and I do a trip out west for skiing. we’ve been to plenty of places in utah and colorado (and i list those as the only options because they are the easiest to get to without flight transfers or long drives afterward to get to the resorts), but this year we were considering going to either portillo or valle nevado in Chile. If anyone has been to either of those please tell me if the experience is worth the price and travel time (i live in NJ so it would be roughly 14 hours direct but probably way longer with layovers). Any other input regarding the subject is much appreciated.

Thanks
